Here at Personal Best we take pride in our community and building a family of learners, where our passionate and dedicated team provide personalised support for children through fun, interactive and engaging learning activities.

We work with all primary-aged children from Prep (Kindergarten) to Year 6 and specialise in building:

— Literacy skills
— Numeracy skills
— Fundamental life skills such as responsibility and accountability for learning 
— Resilience and building confidence and self-esteem.

Our sessions focus on curriculum content being covered at school but also find the gaps in a child’s learning and their knowledge, which allows us to tailor their sessions to best suit their individual needs. We offer one-to-one sessions as well as small groups of 2 - 3 students, as this allows for us to personalise their programs. 

LITERACY SKILLS

So many of our little ones have gaps in their literacy skills, so here at PB we bring it back to the basics: spelling, phonemic awareness, reading and reading comprehension, writing and vocabulary. We also love to incorporate literacy into our life skills and help them to recognise the importance of these skills in their everyday life. 


NUMERACY SKILLS

Here at PB we love our numeracy skills, as there are so many different fun and interactive ways to teach these topics. Showing our students the connection that numeracy has in their everyday lives is also key to our teaching methods. We work with our students on the skills they are learning in the classroom; however, we also incorporate timetables into our lessons as this is often an area that requires intervention.
